Biography:

Kelly Evans is anchor of CNBC’s “The Exchange,” a newsroom-based program made for modern investors. She is also co-anchor of CNBC’s “Power Lunch.”

Evans joined CNBC in 2012 as an on-air correspondent for its “Business Day” programming. She was most recently co-anchor of “Closing Bell,” “Squawk on the Street” and “Worldwide Exchange.”

In a recent interview, Evans said that she’s driven by trying to make sense of complex financial landscapes and how everything pieces together.

“It’s compelling to understand how it all connects to a larger development or trend in society,” Evans told City Lifestyle. “The pieces that connect what’s going on in our lives as far as world events are fascinating.”
