Biography:
Andrew Ross Sorkin is co-anchor of CNBC’s signature morning program, “Squawk Box.” He is also a financial columnist for The New York Times and the editor-at-large of the Times’ DealBook, a financial news service dedicated to helping readers better understand the latest business and policy headlines.
Sorkin is also an author. His book about the 2008 financial crisis, “Too Big to Fail: The Inside Story of How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System — and Themselves,” was awarded the 2010 Gerald Loeb Award for Best Business Book. It was adapted as a movie by HBO in 2011 and nominated for 11 Emmy awards.
Sorkin is also co-creator of the Showtime drama series, “Billions.”
