How To Get New Account Bonuses
Chase has a steady stream of promotional offers for customers who open a checking or credit card account. The rules are straightforward:
- First, make sure you’re eligible. The offers are open to individuals opening their first Chase account of that type. Those who’ve had a similar Chase account or received a similar bonus in the past two or three years are usually not eligible.
- Apply for and open your new account. Be sure to follow instructions carefully. Some might require you to open an account through a branch office, using a coupon code, for example.
- Meet eligibility criteria such as conducting a certain number of checking-account transactions or spending a certain amount on your new credit card.
- Watch your statements for the cash or points rewards.
Final Take To GO: Is Chase the Right Bank for You?
Chase Bank promotions or cash bonuses can be lucrative if you meet the qualifications to get the bonus when you open your new account. However, this shouldn’t be the only reason you open a bank account and become a Chase customer. It’s more important to find a bank that offers products and services that meet your financial needs.
If you can meet the requirements for Chase checking accounts, savings accounts and credit cards to avoid the hefty fees, it may be worth it to look at what Chase offers.
